Six Sentence Sunday

An excerpt from Ensnared (WIP)... this is Aubrey describing William:

Drawn from my thoughts by the movement at the coffee shop door, I see him. William. His eyes survey the small shop and then rest on me, a smile lightening his face and causing those strong creases around his eyes to deepen. I wonder about his age.  He hasn’t told me and I haven’t asked. I haven’t asked much of him.
