I’ve been thinking lately about how fast this year
has gone. Has it gone by quickly for everyone else? It seems like it was just
last December and I was setting my goals for this year and now it’s October and
most of them have been met. (Still have two months to reach those big goals.) I
heard when I was younger that time sped up the older you got and I don’t think
I believed it because as a teenager you think each year is so long. Especially when you’re in school.
But now, each year goes by faster and faster. True,
I’m also getting a bit done, but if someone would like to create some sort of
time machine? You know, where you keep the knowledge you have today but go back
into the body you were at a specific time? I would be in line to buy into it.
I’d love to know what I know today and still have the body I had when I was 21.
Just imagine all you could accomplish :)
Or even better? A wormhole that allows you to enter
your favorite book as its character. I’d so be entering Chemistry of Attraction to become Dina. In a heartbeat. Actually,
I’d enter any of my Corbin’s Bend books in a heartbeat. LOL

handsome. I mean you’re drop-dead gorgeous of course and I’m still not sure

Warm lips pressed against her own and with a sigh,
she wrapped her arms around his shoulders and clung to him as he lightly nipped
her bottom lip. “Don’t be nervous,” he murmured, his lips trailing over her
cheek. “I won’t harm you, Dina.”
Laughing softly, she leaned against him. “I never
mean to insult people, but it seems to be a gift. I didn’t want you to think I
didn’t think you good looking because I do.”
“I can tell.” She could hear the smile in his voice.
“And just for the record, even though I’ve said it before. You’re absolutely
stunning, Carodine Minor. And I definitely want you.” The growl in those last
five words made her gulp even as he pulled her hips close and she felt his hard
length through his pants. As her breath caught in her throat, he kissed her
again before pulling back. “Let’s get comfortable,” he said in encouragement,
reaching forward and unbuttoning the front of her dress.
It had never occurred to her when she put the dress
on what a brilliant idea it was. The large buttons were quite easy for him to
pop open and when he reached the last one, with one flick of his wrists, it
