BOOKS Authors READ: #MFRWauthor @AuthorTinaGayle

It's another BOOKS authors READ post on ROMANCE BECKONS! This is when I'll be asking some of my author friends to share about books they enjoy reading. At least twice each month, you can get some great ideas for books you might also enjoy. I hope you'll keep coming back to talk to each of the authors I've invited. They're a great group.

Today, I'm welcoming author Tina Gayle.
Tina Gayle was born in Texas, the place of her heart and where most of her family still lives. The youngest of four daughters, she grew up a dreamer. She worked for years in the business world doing a variety of accounting jobs. Then when her two sons were little, Tina decided to go back to school to get a degree in MIS. She only used this degree a few years before deciding to follow her passion for writing romance.

As romance author, she has published a number of contemporary romances. Her first being Pregnancy Plan, followed by a paranormal story called Mating Rituals. Deciding to stick to her contemporary romance roots, she then published two more books Baby Decision and Youthful Temptations.

Hi Paloma. So excited to be on your blog today, I love talking about books. My love affair with them started when I was in my teens and I’m still thrilled with reading.

Q. Most authors loved to read at a young age. What was your favorite book as a child?
A. Believe it or not, A Touchdown for Tommy by Matt Christopher.  I grew up in Texas and football was something I watched with my father. The story was one of the first books that drew me in and hooked me on the emotions that a reader can experience from a great read.

Q. What book did you read that inspired you to be an author?
A. I can’t remember just one. I used to read the love swept books and Harlequin stories. I would spend hours in my room, reading and falling in love. The stories inspired me to write stories in my head. I didn’t even consider being an author until after I graduated from college. Then because of a move my family made, I decide to quit and spend all my time with my children and with the stories in my head.

Q. What was the last book you read just for fun?
A. Big Bad Wolf by Christine Warren. This is a series about others who live in New York City. I’ve read a several in the series and have enjoyed each of them.

Q. What upcoming release are you most looking forward to?
A. Funny, how authors love their latest release. I just released the second book in Family Tree series. Fallen Leaves continues the story of Amber Harrison adventure as the keeper of the Winston family spirits. She faces the new challenge of getting her great, great, great, great, grandmother to let go of being a ghost and cross over to heaven.

GIVEAWAY
And now for the giveaway – I would love everyone to read my book and you can read the 1st chapter of my books on my website. For one lucky person though, I’m offering a copy of Fallen Leaves.

Fallen Leaves BLURB
As autumn comes to the Winston estate in Ohio, Amber Harrison learns further lessons in her new position as keeper for the spirits and ghosts who haunt the estate--and further lessons in love, too. She and her love, Carter Miller, grapple with the fears and passions of new love, while caught up in the storm of ancient family drama.

This is the second book in the unfolding saga of the psychics and talents associated with the Winston estate, a sheltered place where past, present, and future are woven into a single dramatic tapestry of love and desire.

Thanks so much, Paloma for letting me be on your blog today.
Best of luck to everyone, Tina.
