Tantalizing Tuesday With Bite

"Will it hurt?” Caroline’s words came to him through a shaky breath against his ear. They were skin to skin. She sat on his lap facing him, their combined sweat the only thing between them. 

She should have known better. Nikko warned her repeatedly since the night they’d met. He told Caroline once he claimed her –once they made love- she would be his forever. And the foolish woman didn’t seem to care. She didn’t run like she should have done. There was no screaming, no retreat, no move to save herself.

“Of course, my delicious treat, love always hurts,” Nikko replied, wrapping his muscular arms tightly around her in a vice. Later when she called herself a victim, Nikko would remind her of the choice she made. Caroline might not have known exactly what he was but she knew he was dangerous.

These were his final thoughts as he turned his head into her body and sank his teeth into the curve of her breast. Her rich blood ran into his mouth and down his throat. Nikko immediately felt the calm flood him as Caroline’s blood gave him nourishment. As he took his fill, she clung to him.
