Disappointed on #TantalizingTuesday

Kade spoke the words Lila prayed never to hear come out of his mouth. "I know what you did." He held her chin, lifted it up and brought his lips against her face. Lila shivered. She could feel the echo of his words against her cheek. Her own heart beat a spastic rhythm in her chest. 

Lila knew she deserved what she got. She wanted only to hang her head in shame but Kade wouldn’t let her. He’d make her face her transgression. It was all part of the price she’d pay. 

Lila held herself still and quiet. Kade had tied her hands with the textured wool rope she hated and he knew it. He wrapped the rope around her wrists and bound them in front of her but none of this mattered. It was the look in his eye that caused her to falter. She’d disappointed him. 

When he spoke, Kade’s voice sounded dangerous. “Apologize only if you mean it. Then you’ll take your lickins like a good girl.” Lila swallowed back the lump in her throat, batted back the tears already sneaking out and nodded. Just once. She knew this wouldn’t be an erotic spanking she was getting tonight.
