Do The #MistletoeHop!
I've always loved to read during the winter months -especially the slower paced week between Christmas and New Years, so it was inevitable for me to write a story that takes place during the holiday season.
Book Three in my Seven Sin Sisters series happens during the Winter Solstice, the holiday my paranormal world celebrates. Readers get to see all the characters they've met so far in books one and two as they gather to celebrate the holiday. But first, Seamus and Gemma must go through the Acclimation as they become mates. Here's a small excerpt of a tender moment between the two main characters from the book:
Such gentleness he had never known until Gemma was the woman before him. He sucked on her tongue and then nipped as gently as he could while still drawing out her precious, life-giving blood. She responded by nipping his lip as he tried to pull away.HOLIDAY GEM is available on AMAZON.
With the first drop of blood into his mouth, Seamus lost some control. Their blood blended and his head spun. Seamus growled out his pleasure and knew all gentleness would be washed away and all playing would be left behind. He feared frightening her even as his chest rumbled with his desire for her. Gemma tensed ever so slightly before she relaxed again into his warmth.
“I want you just as you are. You will never hurt me,” she assured him, already able to feel his emotions. Seamus could feel her desire now as if it were his own. Together their desire was near explosive as everything they were-every particle of their beings-wrapped around one another now.
“Oh Goddess, Seamus, please. I know you won’t hurt me and I need to feel more. I’m greedy for more still,” Gemma’s breathless voice came across his skin like a whisper.
“Me too, beautiful.” In one quick movement, Seamus had Gemma in his arms. His long legs carried them to her bedroom. There was no stopping this now and certainly no more slowing it down.
Seven sisters are entwined in a legacy, one originating back from the time of the Italian Wars in the 1500s. One by one, they will find their mates from the immortal Valendite Breeds and secure their place in history.
Gemma has spent her adult life consumed with researching the Valendite Breed history, constantly greedy for knowledge about their race. Until she meets Seamus and she's no longer able to hide in her world of books and theory. Now is her time to live.
Seamus has found his gem and he wants nothing more than to treasure her. But his best friend is missing and he needs to locate him. Torn between his mate and his brother-in-arms, Seamus may be forced to choose one over the other. Will he sacrifice a lifelong friendship for the love of his life?
Since you can't read book three without first reading books one and two, I'm giving away a set of all three ebooks to ONE LUCKY READER. Enter through the Rafflecopter!
